This project involved the extensive renovation and addition to a historical home in the heart of Oakville. As with all historical homes, much attention to detail is required in order to protect the historical features of the home yet make the finish project look seamless. The renovation added over 2,000 ft2 of new living space, a new double car garage, and also involved the coordination of the landscaping, including a perfectly proportioned pool and cabana and covered porch. The exterior clapboard required replicating many of the existing mouldings in order to tie all the new features with the old. The interior spaces were completed delicately with the utmost attention to detail. Narrow strip floors with custom herringbone bone completes the breakfast area floor. Other features include custom planned tin ceilings, exposed beam ceilings, custom theatre room, Custom millwork and trimwork throughout. There was a lot of work to be done, but this was a very complete effort from the whole team. Every worker recognized how hard he had to work in order to get this job accomplished. The final product is something we take a lot of pride in.
